宇宙レース アストロゴー!ゴー! Uchuu Race - Astro Go! Go! 宇宙レース アストロ ゴー!ゴー! メルダック / カゼ / Meldac / Kaze SHVC-3A 1994年2月25日発売Sports / Racing / レース’A North American version was planned titled Freeway Flyboys but was unreleased.’ (......) ’Astro Go-Go is a strange game. On seeing still shots it looks like a hyper copy of F-Zero but upon playing unfortunately this isn’t even near it’s class!!! The view point is at such a bad angle you can’t see corners until you are right at them. And while the game is fast the graphics are crowded and confusing plus there is a feeling that when you steer it’s the track that rotates and not the car that turns. Music also is of 8-Bit standard and has you reaching for the off button. The only redeeming feature (as with most games) is it’s 2 player game and does offer some level of fun. Overall this is a strange F-Zero clone with no where near as much class.’ MORE INFO ::: en.wikipedia.org www.rvgfanatic.com superfamicom.org www.super-famicom.jp www.gamefaqs.com forums.lostlevels.org en.wikipedia.org
uchuu race astro go! go! snes super nintendo
Join me for a playthrough of the relatively obscure racing game Astro Go! Go! for the SNES (or more precisely the Super Famicom since it was never released outside of Japan). For the uninitiated Astro Go! Go! is a Mode 7 racer that is very reminiscent of the SNES classic F-Zero but with the cute factor set to eleven. This video concentrates on the ’Wonder Cup’ the easiest of the game’s three Grands Prix. My character of choice is ’Baribroon’ who judging by his skull-like features and evil laugh is probably meant to be the villain of the piece. For those familiar with F-Zero Baribroon is pretty similar to ’Samurai Goroh’ that is to say his acceleration is pretty woeful but once he’s up to speed he’ll leave the other racers trailing in his wake. Unless of course you hit an obstacle in which case all your rivals will immediately pass you by smirking as they go. That’s rubber-band AI for you I guess. Enjoy the video.
